Wildlife Hunters Association of Colorado is a private gun club with the range nestled in a valley surrounded by prairie dogs, coyotes and other wildlife. A family oriented gun club, our motto is “Guys and Gals having fun shooting”. In addition to hunting game all over the state, the nation and the world, we have club guided prairie dog shoots on private property all over Colorado’s eastern plains. Our celebrated trio of annual prairie dog control shoots; The May Shoot Out, APDGTH in mid summer and Winter Dawg Shoot, have served to establish WHAC as the premier long range shooting club in the country.
The whole family is welcome. We maintain a 400 yard rifle range along with combat pistol, shotgun and archery ranges on 80 acres near Denver International Airport, with comfortable amenities. In addition, throughout each year we sponsor fun shoots and activities to challenge and hone our skills.
Live fire CCW practice and defensive pistol shoots offer WHAC members who specialize in handguns a great opportunity to expand their confidence and polish their skills in a fun and supportive environment. Then there are IPSC COF shoots, three gun shoots and much more.
It’s all about having fun. But, we are deadly serious about safety. Members are ALL required to be the Range Safety Officer at all times when they are there. We are a social gun club and we have room new members like you and you’re family. |
