This series of photos were taken at the last .50 Cal Assoc Machine Gun Shoot in Ft. Morgan. This is the finale, an impressive display of firepower and an even more impressive display of the behavior of .223 and .30 cal ball ammunition slamming into terrain identical to our own WHAC range. Remember, even though the tracer element burns out the round is still on it's way, somewhere! While exciting and beautiful to experience we must remain vigilant and keep all rounds directed into our backstops.
