Member Procedures Questions
Why do I need to sign in at the range?
This provides a recorded history of who is at or has visited the range. This will help us determine when to cap the memberships.
I am seeing people at the range without badges. What do I do?
Talk to them(nicely, please)! Find out if they are WHAC members
or one of the Friends of Hazlet or an instructional group authorized
to be there. If they are not one of these groups, then they are
probably not supposed to be there and may not understand the
rules and requirements. Explain that the range is private, but
remember, these are possible future members.
I saw something at the range that concerns me. What do I do?
If what you saw is a safety violation talk to the person(s) involved
immediately! Remember, YOU are the Range Officer! Identify yourself
and discuss the situation with them, politely, of course. If
they still continue to be uncooperative, try to find out who
they are and report the incident to us by e-mail: cysoto@wildlifehunters.com. The goal is to take care of the situation as quickly
as possible.
The weather looks like there might be precipitation. Can I still
go shoot?
If it has rained or snowed recently, you can call the Range Boss (Rob H.)
at (303) 659-8431 for road conditions.
