Land Use Agreement
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

The continued use of the range depends on a few things that the landowners and neighbors require.

Keep all vehicles on established roadways and parking areas. No driving to targets. Drive thru mud holes-not around them. Observe posted signs

Farm animals have the right of way. Do not shoot old farm equipment or oil machinery.

Do not shoot any wildlife on the property without expressed permission.

At this time, members have expressed permission to shoot ONLY coyotes and prairie dogs.

Drugs and alcohol are prohibited.

Other Range Rules

Club ID cards or WHAC apparel with member's name must be worn.

Even if you are a first time new member shooter, you still MUST address any safety violation or problem as soon as you see it. Open all bolts and actions before handling any firearm. Keep your muzzle below the horizon- there are houses only one mile away and any bullet can reach there if fired over backstop. When you are set up on a shooting table and ready to shoot, chamber ammo and prepare to close you bolt/action. Acquire your target and only then close your bolt/action. Any slam fire or accidental discharge before acquiring a target could result in a bullet being fired over the backstop. When the firing line is NOT HOT and shooters are down range, there will be no handling of any firearm.

The rifle range is for rifle work. If there are people waiting to shoot, limit your time to one hour. Use only one table and move your equipment to clean so others can use the tables. If you have been shooting and new members show up, introduce yourself, call a cease-fire to allow new shooters to post targets.

Full auto firearms and rapid fire shooting is limited to the pistol range only. If there are shooters on the pistol range, they must be considered first before rapid-fire shooters. This range is for rifle and pistol shooters. Full auto shooters must accommodate the designed usage of the range.
