Membership FAQ'S
What type of membership is offered?
We offer only family memberships. Our membership includes all family members that are living in your household.
What does it cost to join?
There is a one time initiation fee of $75 and yearly dues are $200.
Do you have a work Bond?
No, We do not require a work bond. The general maintenance is done by the owners of the clubs. We generally have one a spring work party to get the major maintenace or new projects done for the year and on ocassion we will send out e-mail asking for help when the two of just can not do it alone. We have some very active members that have really made the club what it is today.
Is my membership based on a calendar year or when I join?
Your membership will be good for one year from the month that you join. Ex. If you Join March 2011 you will need to renew your membership by March of 2012 to keep it active.
May I bring a Guest?
Yes, Guest are always welcome. We ask that you limit your guest to 3 people and that they sign a waiver each time they visit the range and they must wear a visitors badge. In addition you must accompany your guest at all times. You are responsible for their safety and that they follow the WHAC rules. This means if they want to be on the rifle range and you want to be on the pistol range you must choose one activity at a time.
How do I tour the Range?
We at WHAC want to make sure the range will meet your shooting needs. The easiet way to tour the range is to attend one of the events. You will be able to see the range and see how we operate the range. Plus you will be able to meet club members and talk with them. The second way is to attend a new members tour and safety meeting.
Are you accepting new members?
Currently at this time we are at our membership cap. We are creating a waiting list based on a first come first served basis. Please e-mail us at info@wildlifehunters.com with your name, phone number and e-mail address. When we have opening we will contact the next persons on this list to attend a new members tour and safety meeting.
Who should attend the new members tour and safety meeting?
The main member is required to attend as you will be responsible for your family members and guests. However, we request that all family members that will be shooting should attend.
What do I need to bring to the new members tour?
Please download and fill out the Application Form and Range Rules and Waiver(printable PDF) and bring it along with your payment of either cash or check.
Please bring a set of eye and ear protection for each family member attending as there will members shootings.
How To Renew
How do I know it is time to renew?
Your membership card has the expiration date and we will send you an e-mail to remind you.
How can I save money on my renewal?
If you renew 30 days prior to your expiration date you will save $10.
What if I do not renew before my membership expires?
Currently with the membership cap you will be put on the waiting list to join and you will have to re-join as a new member at the current membership rate and initiation fee.
